verbal and non verbal
include sign language, body language, facial expressions, listening- active and passive.
You could also mention Braille, flash cards and computer aided speech.

communication comes in two main catergories, verbal and non verbal.
Verbal is the obvious- talking, shouting, etc this can be face to face or over a telephone
Non Verbal -
Sign language
Written/ e mail/ txt
Body language, this is a big one when it comes to health care and can communicate a lot of things to a person- body language includes hand gestures, body posture, eye movements, mouth gestures etc
